Innoson Vs GTB
I don't know who created that #freeinnoson, but before you said Jack Robinson, the thing had gone round like wild fire... Come and see campaign everywhere, all sorts of posters were created within seconds; social media was flooded big time. I'm so sure that GTB was rattled by the anger of umu Biafra; EFCC too. Like somebody put it online, anu gbaa ajo oso, agbaa ya ajo egbe. Don't ask me the meaning biko, go buy Igbo dictionary lol.
But, let me tell you the truth, till this moment, I can't really say what transpired between uncle Inno and his bankers, GTB. Oh yes, there were different versions to this saga, so, it depends on which side of the divide you belong. I don't even want to go into details on who did what and why, but one thing is certain; what started as a business disagreement degenerated to ethnic battle. To me, that's not a good sign at all.
In fact, The first story on social media was that Buhari was planning to close down Innoson plant in Nnewi. Inukwa m akuko? To this group of people, the arrest of oga Inno in his Enugu home is part of the ploy to clamp down on Igbo economy... Akuko na egwu Mike Ejeagha. Fa na agwa Biati! Until that GTB angle came up, that was the dummy they sold to everybody. But I must warn you o, you've not heard the last about this case... Odi immilimious.
But wait o, oga Magu, what is even not wrong with your men? So, just to arrest my brother Innoson, you packed the entire EFCC squad to Enugu? Hmmmmm, dem get luck shaa, if na those days, dem for hear the sound of ogbunigwe lol.
GTB, well, something tells me you are being economical with the truth on this matter. Biko, tell us the koko, why involve EFCC in this disagreement, a case that is already in court. And the way that your press release was written, I strongly believe you are keeping something away from the public.
As for that senseless campaign to bring down one of the most efficient banks in the country, I no gree. I have a GTB account, which I opened as a corps member in Yobe; that's the last account I will ever close; go and call police, its not your money lol. In case you don't know, that bank set the tone for the employment of youths in the banking sector, including Igbo; I won't be part of that madness. Since the case is in court, they should go and settle their disputes and stop heating up the country. When the business was good, I was never invited.
Innoson, Innoma, Inno, how many times did I call you sir? My brother, don't allow yourself to be dragged down to a local champion, mba nu; you are bigger than that. Let me tell you sir, you are our own Dangote and Adenuga; you are not just Igbo, you are national. In fact, you are international bros. To be the maker of first made in Nigeria car, di anyi oburo obele ife.
In fact, let me advise you sir, I think you need to come out well in this 2019; play the game well. You see people like Dangote, Otedola, Adenuga and co, they are not where they are today cos of ethnic sentiments, for where. And I can confirm to you as well, they are not using any juju or African airways; its simple business sense. During election, they fund all major contenders, not minding tribe. So, head or tail, they are in business. So, oga Inno, that's the league where you belong.
On a more serious note, the manner at which EFCC went about its operation in Enugu should be condemned by every Nigerian, not ndi Igbo. The truth is that a whole lot of people involved in that campaign have issues to settle with this government, so at every given opportunity, they square up with Mr President. But like the saying goes, the man on whose head the coconut is broken, might not be alive to enjoy it... I no talk pass this one.
